40 DAYS FOR LIFE – SPRING 2026
| We are about to start 40 Days again! Many of you know we are a 365 group so we try to keep people praying at Planned Parenthood on abortion days year-round to pray and offer help and hope. However, during the 40 Days that happens in Spring and Fall we make an extra effort to keep every hour filled 7am to 7pm. This is where we need your help! A few opportunities for you. 1. We need volunteers to call our volunteers ASAP with a simple script reminding them we are about to start and asking if they can take a recurring hour a week, give them details about upcoming events like the midpoint rally with Ramona Travino March 10th and the candlelight prayer vigil the mom and baby who lost their life to planned parenthood this time last year. I will provide a script and a list of names of numbers. This is a great job for some of you looking to volunteer outside of just the sidewalk. Please email me or text me to let me know you are interested and your name and email so I can send you a script and a 1/2 sheet or sheet of names. THANK YOU!! 2. Please let me know if you are able to be a day captain or even half day captain. Currently I am the day captain for every day and would love some help. You sign up for a day and are responsible for making calls to help get those hours filled and if no one fills them you try to fill them yourself. You will have all the volunteers phone numbers and names to be able to call around to see if you can fill the missing hours. Please contact me with the day or half day you are available. Sunday would be the most helpful! Text me at 719-246-8085 3. Be on the ON CALL LIST. No, you do not have to show up when we have an opening, but you just need to be willing to be on a text list of for openings and consider filling it if you are available! Please text me your name and number! THANK YOU!!!! 4. Sign up for your weekly recurring time slot and if you did one hour a week last time consider two! If you did an hour here and there, would you consider signing up now for once a week so we can see what hours need covered most? It is a lot of hours to cover, and we need your help and so believe in the power of our collective prayers so please join us and invite friends and small groups. Maybe your whole small group can pick an hour to come together before or after your meeting… Just some ideas. www.40daysforlife.com/fortcollins 5. Be a church Liaison and spread the word to your church. I will provide you with brochures and bulletin style info you can have your church post, I can come lead a pro-life training in your church and you can ask your church or youth group for that opportunity. You can host a table at your church and I will provide you with brochures, flyers and other goodies to give away. 6. PRAY!! Pray for an end to abortion. Pray for the women and men coming and the workers to come to know Jesus and leave this place. Pray for all of us on this team to be filled with courage and boldness and wisdom and to come and pray on site. Pray for the Lord of the Harvest to send more workers out to the sidewalk to pray!! Welcome to Fort Collins 40 Days for Life!
We will continue to join other 40 days for life participants around the globe fasting, praying and standing for life and offering help during the two 40 day prayer vigils but we will now HAVE A YEAR-ROUND PRESENCE WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY 8-12! These are abortion days and your presence and prayers may mean the difference between life and death.

During the 40 day vigils we cover EVERY shift on the sidewalk. In years past I have covered all those that needed to be covered but with family health issues we need your help more than ever!
We encourage everyone to join us on the public sidewalk in front of the Fort Collins Planned Parenthood at 825 S Shields St. to pray for an hour a day, week, or however much time you have available. Please pray on the other side of the entrance from the person sidewalk counseling at the driveway and giving roses and resources to girls coming in as don’t want to overwhelm as they are unlikely to stop if there are too many people by the driveway.
The hardest days for me to get covered are Sundays -Wednesdays. I would love your help especially on these days!
There is free parking only in the visitor spots at St John xxIII parking lot. Or if you want to park anywhere there including behind subway contact me about who to send your license plate info to. ( you could get towed if you are not in a visitor spot or do not have your lisence on file with them),
During 40 Days Sept 24th- Nov 2nd you can park behind Subway at the top lot and not be towed!!

Please stand and peacefully pray on public sidewalk in front of the Plannned Parenthood (West side of Shields along the stone wall in front of the Planned Parenthood building). Do not trespass across the yellow line or on thier property.
Do not engage with any counter protesters who come to yell and get angry. Please do not bring “murder signs”. It only draws the girls we want to help away. Thank you!

Tips:
1. Be careful not to trespass on the private property. This includes the driveway and parking lot.
2. When offering information to passers-by, ask them for permission to do so. That is as easy as saying, “May I give you some free resources”.
3. If this is your first time out praying on the sidewalk, the best time to “learn” the ropes is with others so let us know when you want to come with someone experienced and we will set it up!

Why? The recent Supreme Court overturning of Roe V Dobbs, which stated that abortion is not a fundamental right of the US Constitution and turned the decision of abortion over to the states to decide, has the abortion industry and supporters in a frantic frenzy to further enculturate abortion in schools, media, business, legislation and the Church.
Over the past years, the abortion industry in Colorado and their legislative supporters have aggressively doubled down to enshrine abortion into Colorado law and take away parental rights with the Reproductive Health Equity Act (RHEA), and multiple other legislation despite hundreds of hours or protest from prolife constituents and legislators. The Colorado abortion industry is determined to make Colorado a destination abortion state. Fundraising efforts and Public Companies are paying travel expenses for women to have an abortion in Colorado.
Fort Collins Planned Parenthood has increased their surgical and medical abortion services. Greeley Planned Parenthood provides referrals for surgical abortions and medical abortion services. Over 60% of abortions are medical abortions. The abortion industry has infiltrated our schools and is indoctrinating our children to feed their coffers.
In June 2022, the City of Fort Collins Board voted in a Resolution to make Fort Collins a (Pro) Abortion Sanctuary City, despite the majority present who spoke against.
We as Christians, parents, US Citizens, and those who believe life begins at conception must take a stance to protect our children, grandchildren, and the unborn children. We must protect women, men and families who are being manipulated and commoditized by the abortion industry and legislators.
We must repent and turn back to God to ask for His mercy, grace and conversion of hardened hearts during this time of child sacrifice. We must not allow these atrocities to continue in our cities. Churches must take a stand and encourage parishioners to support women in pregnancy by knowing and offering options for all circumstances. God always provides a way, if we look to him in faith, hope and prayer.

during 40 Days for Life to help people know there are other options than abortion. We care and we can help. We have resources.
